One of the most important skills you’ll practice as a PMHNP student is the psychiatric interview. This is where you gather the patient’s story, explore symptoms, and build the foundation for diagnosis and treatment. In this module, you’ll learn the step-by-step process of a full interview and how to perform a Mental Status Exam (MSE) with confidence.
